These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of The One Bill (“Service”), a web application operated by REDHEAD STUDIOS LTDA, a legal entity registered in Brazil under CNPJ 48.257.504/0001-18 (“Redhead Studios”, “we”, “our”).
By accessing or using The One Bill, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. About The One Bill
The One Bill is a web application created to help users create, manage, and share bill splits and group expense summaries.
The Service can be used for free with limited features. Premium features are available for a one-time purchase.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
By using The One Bill, you declare that you have the legal capacity to accept these Terms.
3. Free and Premium Features
3.1 Free Use
The One Bill offers a free version that allows you to record transactions in a single account with automatic balance accounting, but without the ability to create new accounts and collaborate in real-time.
3.2 One-Time Purchase of Premium
Users can purchase The One Bill Premium for a one-time payment of US$ 19.
This purchase grants:
- Lifetime access to current premium features: (unlimited account creation, cloud saving, and real-time collaboration with other users).
- “Lifetime” refers to the useful life of the The One Bill product, not the user's life.
We reserve the right to launch new paid features or products in the future.
3.3 No Subscription
The One Bill Premium is not a subscription and does not have automatic renewal.
4. Payments and Refunds
Payments are processed by the third-party provider polar.sh.
Refunds can be requested within 14 days of purchase. After this period, the purchase is considered final.
5. User Accounts and Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account, for all activities conducted in it, and for the accuracy of the information entered in the accounts and expenses.
You agree not to use the Service for illegal purposes, interfere with the operation of the Service, or use it to defraud, harm, or harass third parties.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. User Content
Users may enter data such as names, expenses, account details, notes, and messages.
You retain ownership of your data. By using the Service, you grant Redhead Studios a non-exclusive license to store and process this data solely to provide the Service.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information entered does not violate laws or third-party rights.
7. Shareable Links
The One Bill allows you to generate shareable links for account summaries.
Anyone with access to the link can view the shared content. You are responsible for sharing links only with trusted individuals.
Redhead Studios is not responsible for the misuse of these links.
8. Service Availability
We may modify, suspend, or terminate The One Bill at any time, with or without notice.
We do not guarantee that the Service will always be error-free, secure, or available without interruptions.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The One Bill is provided “as is.” We disclaim all warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement of rights.
Use is at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Redhead Studios shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service, errors in calculations or data entered by users, or disputes between users related to payments.
The One Bill is merely a calculation and organization tool. We do not process payments or act as financial intermediaries.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the Service.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Redhead Studios for any claims arising from the use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or disputes between users.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. The forum for resolution shall be the jurisdiction of the Capital of the State of Santa Catarina, waiving any other.
13. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after changes means acceptance of the new version.
