Fair split
Pay only for what you had
Friday night, eight of us at the seafood place. Leo ordered the lobster, Priya had a salad, and the rest of us shared two pizzas.
When the check came, someone said to just split it evenly. Priya went quiet. Nobody wants to pay for half a lobster they never touched.

So Leo added the receipt to The One Bill, and we tapped who had each item. The pizzas went to the six of us who shared them, and the lobster went to Leo.
Tax, tip and service followed each person's share, so the math stayed fair down to the cent.
Priya paid for her salad, Leo paid for his lobster, and nobody did math on a napkin.
